#FreeEducation
Where is the money gonna come from if the free education continues ,people are concerned and so am I as the citizen of South Africa.Things need to change in creating jobs for the unemployed looking at the graduates who are sitting at home with their certificates unable to find jobs that is the most painful thing ever and that's what us as undergraduates fear ,studying for years to sit at home doing nothing.
Free Education is for deserving students as mentioned by the Deputy Higher Education and training minister Mr Manamela freeeducation also by our new President Cyril Ramaphosa, and the plan of increasing the VAT by 1% even though it will affect many people and their businesses Money and other costs the government is really doing something about this campaign or plan.It needs to be monitored well so that there won't be issues in the next coming years.

The vat seems like a good plan but its gonna create a lot of changes in everything that evolves around our country ,food petrol, almost everything will increase. As the number of people who also want funding will increase as Mr Malusi Gigaba has mentioned in his budget speech from "230 469 this year to 1 123 212" as this is quoted from his budget speech, budget2018 . To be honest there are people who has the money, for the sake of that they also want free resources of free education as they are part of South African citizens.
This might back fire, there will be protests and this will benefit the Public Relations Practitioners in terms of solving matters. Also this can affect the Public Relations Practitioners on their research if such topics would have been published already as it will be like they plagiarized the work of other bloggers on social media.I recommend that the public relations people to have strategies and do the situational analysis to avoid issues. To do follow ups as there is a lot of corrupt people who are working for the government. For public relations people to do their job in standing firm for the people in public also on social media.

Free education is needed in South Africa. Free education means economic freedom.
ReplyDeleteEveryone in this country deserves free education but only if you cannot afford your studies so yes it is much needed, so that we will have more future leaders in this country and make it a better place.
DeleteOur economy is drowning, the government cannot be able to fund millions of students, some parents are rich in such a way that they can afford to pay fees for their students. Not everyone deserves free education unless those ones who disadvantaged family.
ReplyDeleteThe government can fund millions of students as they have proposed a strategy that will help this plan go ahead even on the next 3 years,so everyone does deserve free education more specially its our right to have free education in South Africa. So the free education campaign is directed to the deserving students that don't have the money to further their studies.
DeleteMy concern about free education is that then when the education is free, will it be as of the quality of the education gotten in private institutions. Look at private and public looks for examples. There is a huge gap between learners that went to these different schools. Learners from private schools are advantaged wherever they go. Unlike the learners from public schools. So then when it comes to higher education and the workplace I would think graduates would encounter a similar situation.I feel like the issues of fees and free education are simultaneous.
ReplyDeleteThe free education from public institutions obviously won't be the same compared to private institutions ,looking at how things were like during the apartheid whites I could say they are the ones who experienced good higher education compared from blacks. So I really think this tendency is still continuing even though there are some whites that do go to public schools and it must be stopped as everyone deserves equal education.
DeleteI personally believe that if education was free to everyone in South Africa, the economy will improve. When a person is educated it is much easier for them to get employment and be able to support their families. This will even reduce the level of poverty in the country.
ReplyDeleteEducation is now free to everyone and maybe the economy will improve only if us as students get job opportunities immediately after we are done studying.I don't think the economy will rise if qualified students are still seated at home with their qualifications and not able to get jobs legally.Today people get jobs by bribing and other ways just to be employed and work for what you worked for.
DeleteThis issue of free Education has been going on for quite sometime, I doubt free education will ever be distributed to all the students nationally so i think if the government can atleast say 50 percent off in order for peace
ReplyDeleteFree education is now distributed on all the students but only the deserving ones ,so the other students are the ones that can be able to pay their studies. If the government takes 50% off , I think the economy will fall drastically.
Deletevery interesting post here.Free education really has and still open a lot of opportunities for people even those that were previously marginalized
ReplyDeleteThanks Lelo ,I am glad that you see a point in my blogging because we all need education so that we can be able to change the situations that we are facing everyday in ourlives. But I really would be glad if the new President would make it his priority that he creates jobs for the students fresh out from the universities.
DeleteI strongly agree with you on the fact that the free education plan should be handled by trusted people so that free education can be given to people who really deserve the privillege
ReplyDeleteIt is an honor that you also see things the way I do,because the corruption that is being done at the government departments is affecting everyone in this country. So what is being proposed about the #FreeEducation is a good plan. They also should make sure they create jobs for people who have certificates and are qualified to do what they studied for.
DeleteThe ignorance government is having towards education calls for concern, don't they see how important this is for us as the youth. We have the right to education how will we even put that right into practice when we can not even afford getting into school education should be free.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Cwenga on your comment as you are saying the government is ignorant ,looking at the protests of #FeesMustFall ,why did it have to continue for so long.I don't understand on how the government says united we stand ,but they are not acting upon those words specially for us the youth because we are the future leaders of this country.
Delete#feesmustfall#not every youth can afford education... Government must really be concern about the youth future not fighting over positions #
DeleteI agree with you anonymous not every youth can afford their fees at the higher institutions to further their studies but with the free education that has been introduced I can see that the South African youth is going somewhere. As so the government they should be strict with everything and, not let history repeat itself by having a corrupt leader who will ruin our economy since well we are a developing country.
